Founded in 1995, and profitable every year since its inception, Mouseclicks provides some of the world's leading companies with end-to-end web solutions, including award-winning search engine optimization (SEO), website design and development, intranet and extranet design and development, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and corporate branding and identity.
We are currently seeking candidates for the following position:
SEO/SEM Copywriter
Mouseclicks has an opportunity for an SEO/SEM copywriter in Raleigh/Durham, NC; Nashua, NH; or Cape Cod, MA. If you are a professional writer who enjoys creating compelling online marketing copy that is also search-engine friendly, we want to hear from you. Remote arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
In this position, you will help develop professional, meaningful and keyword-rich content and more for client websites and online PPC advertising campaigns. Responsibilities would also include performing keyword research on a variety of topics and working with other web consultants to determine keyword strategies for client websites and campaigns. To succeed in this position, you must have a strong interest in search engine marketing, enjoy research and demonstrate solid writing skills.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
- 2+ years of experience as a business and/or creative copywriter
- Experience as an SEO/SEM copywriter a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Extreme attention to detail
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Writing samples (including SEO writing samples, if possible)
- Financial services industry experience a plus
